Who we are
ark.stock is a product of ark.swiss sàrl, a Swiss limited liability company based in canton Vaud and founded in 2019. We combine two complementary crafts: web development (custom business applications and SaaS) and audiovisual integration (pro AV systems for Swiss SMEs and institutions). The same standard Swiss industry applies to its mechanical parts, we apply to the software we ship.
A modular platform
ark.stock bundles 10 modules into 5 groups: Inventory, Operations, Commerce, Analytics and Administration. You activate only what you need — a freelancer with 200 items does not pay the same bill as a rental company with 10,000. The product replaces Excel and tools like Rentman, Booqable or Hector, with one Swiss-specific difference: Swiss billing via ark.plan (SIX QR-bill) and Swiss hosting, without leaking your data with every subscription.
We use it ourselves
ark.stock was born from an internal need: our audiovisual division used to track its fleet with Excel, paper stickers and ill-fitting foreign tools. Today we use ark.stock every day to track that equipment: 201 items in our fleet, 13 customers served by our AV team, 300,000 CHF of gear inventoried, no loss since 2024. The numbers on the home page are ours. We know what breaks in inventory management because we lived it before we wrote the fix.
The co-founders
- Matthieu S. — Web division. Full-stack developer, product and code lead for ark.stock.
- Corentin M. — Audiovisual division. AV engineer with the Swiss federal diploma, lead field user of the product.
We chose measured growth over aggressive customer-chasing. Every customer has a direct contact, not a ticket in a queue — and we write code meant to last ten years, not three.
Technical principles
- An isolated instance per customer — every customer has their own database and their own file storage. Your data never sits next to another customer's: cross-tenant leakage is ruled out by design.
- Hosted in Switzerland — Infomaniak (datacenters in Lausanne & Geneva), ISO 27001 certified and powered by 100% renewable hydroelectricity.
- Responsible AI — your data is never used to train models. The few features that call an AI (QR recognition help, placement suggestions) are routed through providers under strict contracts, with no retention of your content.
- Swiss QR-bill via ark.plan — a rental project is invoiced in one click inside ark.plan, compliant with the Swiss SIX standard, payable immediately by any Swiss bank.
- Longevity — we write code we will still maintain in ten years, using proven technologies rather than passing trends.
The ark.swiss family
ark.stock is part of a small ecosystem of Swiss tools: ark.stock (inventory, this site), ark.plan (CRM, projects, time tracking and invoicing) and ark.flow (accounting and budgeting). The three share the same Swiss infrastructure and the same per-customer isolation — you can start with one product and activate others later, without re-registering. Alongside the software, our audiovisual division handles the integration of pro systems (meeting rooms, auditoriums, event installations).
