A Swiss workshop, two divisions
ark.stock is a product of ark.swiss sàrl, a limited liability company based in the canton of Vaud, born from the reunification of two complementary divisions: web development — custom business applications, SaaS and AI — and audiovisual integration — professional AV systems for Swiss SMEs and institutions. Our headquarters is at Chemin de la Duchesne 13, 1806 St-Légier, canton de Vaud, Suisse; a second workshop is at Rue du Carroz 2, 1607 Palézieux-Village, canton de Vaud, Suisse. Our approach fits in one idea: Swiss Industrial Precision — the same standard Swiss mechanical industry applies to its parts, we apply to software and to installations.
Our story
It all started in 2019 with Ark Studio Production Sàrl: video production for Swiss SMEs and associations — interviews, ads, event clips.
In 2020 the pandemic forced a pivot. The company became Ark Group Switzerland Sàrl and specialised in live event streaming, since in-person events had stopped.
From 2021 to 2024, the workshop diversified: launch of power-tools.ch, a professional-tool e-commerce site (2021-2024); meanwhile Matthieu S. trained as a full-stack developer and Corentin M. earned the Swiss federal diploma in audiovisual engineering.
In 2024, the two activities were reunified under the ark.swiss Sàrl brand, structured in two complementary divisions: Web (from which ark.stock is born) and Audiovisual. Since then, we design, we build, we integrate. Made in Switzerland.
Our mission
"We build digital experiences that last." Make a pro-grade inventory tool accessible to Swiss professionals: solid, durable, hosted in Switzerland, compliant with Swiss law, and designed for real-world practice — warehouses, check-out sessions, QR-bill, batch returns. Our customers are not interchangeable users; their data does not belong to a cloud giant or to an AI model. It belongs to them. We hold it in trust.
A modular platform
ark.stock bundles 12 modules into 5 functional groups: Inventory (articles + hierarchical containers), Operations (projects, maintenance, QR/NFC scanner), Commerce (pricing, QR-bill invoicing, public catalogues), Analytics (statistics and dashboards), Administration (import/export, multi-instance sync). You activate only what you need — a freelancer with 200 items does not pay the same bill as a rental company with 10,000.
The product replaces Excel, Rentman, Booqable, Hector, Cheqroom, Sortly and similar tools — with one difference: it is Swiss, natively integrated with the SIX QR-bill standard and nDSG rules, without bleeding your data with every subscription.
Dogfooding
ark.stock was born from an internal need: our audiovisual division tracked its fleet with Excel, paper stickers and ill-fitting foreign tools. We now use ark.stock every day to track that equipment — 201 items tracked, 13 active customers, 300,000 CHF of inventory, zero losses across the entire cycle. The numbers on the home page are ours. We know what breaks in inventory management because we lived it before we coded the fix.
The co-founders
ark.swiss sàrl is a tight team built around two co-founders:
- Matthieu S. — co-founder, Web division. Full-stack developer (Go, TypeScript, Preact), product and code lead for ark.stock, ark.plan and ark.flow.
- Corentin M. — co-founder, Audiovisual division. AV engineer with the Swiss federal diploma, in charge of AV integrations and field-use champion of ark.stock.
We chose measured growth over growth hacking: long-horizon decisions, code maintained for years, human support provided by the people who design the product. Every customer has a direct contact, not a ticket in a queue.

Engineering principles
- Single-tenant — one isolated application instance per customer (a dedicated Docker container and PostgreSQL database). No shared database, therefore zero risk of cross-tenant data leakage.
- Swiss-hosted — hosted at Infomaniak in Geneva, in data centres powered by 100% renewable hydroelectricity, ISO 27001 certified.
- Responsible AI — customer data is never used to train models. Calls to language models (QR recognition, placement suggestions) are routed through providers under strict DPAs, with no retention.
- Native QR-bill — invoicing compliant with the SIX standard, generated by the v2 engine and usable immediately by any Swiss bank. No PDF approximation.
- Longevity — we write code we can still maintain in ten years. No fashionable framework abandoned two years later.

Alongside the software suite, our audiovisual division handles the integration of pro systems (meeting rooms, auditoriums, event installations). The three software products share the same Swiss infrastructure, the same single-tenant architecture and the same Swiss-hosting philosophy. A customer can start with one product and activate others without re-registering.
