Every project runs a strict pipeline: Draft → Confirmed → Prep → In Progress → Return → Billed → Archived (plus cancelled / disputed variants). Transitions are validated — you can't flip to "In Progress" without completing the send-session. The audit trail records who clicked which transition, when.
